The Details
Everything about this Escondido wedding was personalized to the couple. From the dress which was both youthful and classic, to the location in a friend’s backyard, it was all perfectly curated for Karli and Corban. One feature of this Escondido wedding that Karli in particular was stoked about was the barn. We took photos of her dress right in front of the barn doors. Bridal party and family photos also took place here before the ceremony, which worked out beautifully for the lighting. I couldn’t have planned that out any better.
As usual, I paired her bridal shoes from Target with the stunning veil for some textured detail photos. Her shoes had pearls matching the veil perfectly.
One of my favorite pre-ceremony photos from this wedding was a true candid. Karli’s bridesmaids were asking her about all she was looking forward to with her wedding and marriage, and the joyful, girlhood sleepover vibes were unmatched.
The First Look
So many joyful tears followed the first time Corban saw Karli in her wedding dress. The first look allowed Karli and Corban to share private vows with each other before their ceremony. What a privilege to capture that moment!
Another absolute favorite moment was while I took pictures of the bride. I looked over over at the groom and saw he had started crying all over again. These two love each other BIG. Their Escondido wedding was just the beginning for them.
The Escondido Wedding Ceremony
Though warm, the trees provided some shade, and the cutest wedding fliers were made to be fans for the guests. I made sure to get some wide shots of the ceremony to feature Karli’s favorite barn, perfectly tucked in an Escondido neighborhood.

The Party
You’ve seen dress changes, but check out Karli and Corban’s party outfits, complete with black and white sweatpants and Nikes to party with their friends. These two hit the dance floor hard. Their wedding was truly a party.
Finally, the getaway car was a classic Buick, complete with a surfboard tied to the roof. What a perfect end to this Escondido wedding!
