I always LOVE shooting at Serendipity. It is one of my favorite venues, not just because it is stunning with high end details throughout. Truly, their team makes this beautiful venue so enjoyable to work at. It’s nestled in the hills of Oak Glen, and every corner is so beautiful! Of course, we had florals from Flowers Etc. Beaumont, and they were stunning as usual.
This wedding was fun because it was my first time shooting a reception in their barn. At other weddings I’ve shot here, receptions happened on the upper terrace. The barn was a great indoor setting for the colder evening.
One of my favorite, unique parts of this Serendipity Garden Wedding was actually that we started the day at a private estate just down the road. Honestly, the estate itself could have hosted a beautiful wedding for a small guest list. The first look was so beautiful, as Catherine and Favian shared private vows under the trees overlooking the valley.
After the first look, we went over to Serendipity Garden Weddings for bridal party and family photos. I love capturing all the formal portraits before ceremonies so that couples can relax after their ceremony. During cocktail hour we did a few more couple’s portraits, but mainly we had our bride and groom go join cocktail hour to say hello to their guests.
The barn at Serendipity Garden Weddings is spacious and has beautiful doors on either end to let in light. It’s right next to a beautiful terrace for guests to mingle outside with their drinks between dancing. Our amazing DJ was Miguel on this night, and he did such a good job with the flow of the evening and getting the party going.
If you’re looking for an all inclusive venue to take care of you and provide a high end setting for your wedding, Serendipity Garden Weddings truly is one of my favorites.
