Looking for a Camarillo wedding venue? Tucked in the hills of Camarillo near Los Angeles and Ventura Counties, Casi Cielo Vineyard is an amazing venue in Camarillo, California. It is an incredible option for anyone looking for an elevated, luxurious feel to their Camarillo wedding. Obviously from the name, the vineyards are a stunning backdrop for a SoCal wedding, but there are other beautiful parts of this hidden gem. The patio and fireplace, bridal suite, lower lawn, and easy parking. It’s a win all around.
Zack and Kayla got married on a beautiful October day, and every detail, both from Kayla’s planning and the venue itself, felt incredibly sentimental and luxurious. We shot both photography and videography for this wedding. One amazing part of our packages is they are customizable. Rather than a highlight video, Kayla and Zack opted for a video add-on for their ceremony recording and reception moments! We absolutely love long form video for looking back on the full memories to remember every word of your parent’s speeches or the first dance as husband and wife.
Ok, let’s talk about this Camarillo wedding venue!! The bridal suite is perfect for photos, letting in natural light from the windows and with a sitting area for your bridesmaids and bride to hang out during the morning. I love how the surroundings in this room photographed so well, with the white walls and a large mirror. It made for beautiful first look photos with bridesmaids and parents.
Kayla’s dress was so special as it had sleeves added with cuffs from her mom’s dress, and it hung beautifully on the garage doors at the Casi Cielo Vineyard house. I love a venue that has places to hang wedding dresses! You’d be surprised how many times I’ve had to get oddly creative for those shots. We also took advantage of the bridal suite for some moments with her parents to open special gifts she had personalized for them.
The ceremony area at Casi Cielo was just in front of the vineyards, down a beautiful set of stairs onto the lawn. The oak trees provided the perfect amount of shade while filtering in the sunlight for romantically lit ceremony photos.
After the ceremony, Kayla and Zack ran back to the bridal suite to grab and decorate the cakes that Kayla actually made herself! She has a small cake business called Joy in the Baking, based in Santa Clarita, CA. When she told me she was making her own wedding cake, I had no clue it would turn out like this!! It was classic, traditional, and had an heirloom cake topper. If you had no idea where to turn for your wedding cake in Santa Clarita or the San Fernando Valley, look no further than Kayla.
We partied hard on the patio for their beautiful reception, but not before we did some of my favorite sunset bridal portraits to date. The vineyards in the backgrounds, the sunlight filtering over the hills, the veil shots. It was all perfect. Casi Cielo Vineyards had some beautiful nooks for photos depending on what you’re going for. Hide away in between the vineyards for your bridal shots, or go down the hill for the beautiful vine covered fence.
The reception was full of emotional speeches, and one of my favorite parts of the night was capturing a photo of Kayla and Zack on the dancefloor, slow dancing next to their parents and siblings. Kayla’s brother is in the military and overseas, so having him in at their Camarillo wedding was incredibly special, and capturing this moment was such a representation of everything I love about being a wedding photographer–the moments that only last a moment, yet in a photo they can last forever.
The reception ended with a classic sparkler exit down the stairs. So much fun! I had such a great time at this Camarillo wedding at Casi Cielo Vineyards.
