I love a Camarillo wedding no matter the venue, but McCormick Home Ranch is a new favorite of mine. I’ve had the pleasure of shooting at Casi Cielo Vineyards before which is not too far and I LOVED, so when we had the opportunity for another Camarillo wedding, and this time at a ranch home, I was STOKED.
Liv and Gav are the sweetest couple. They both recently graduated from the same business program at The Master’s University. I don’t know how Liv did it all, finishing up her college education while planning this insanely beautiful wedding.
The Details
From start to finish, every detail was thought out and classy. From black and white details with gold accents, to florals that just elevated the already beautiful setting of McCormick Home Ranch, it was perfect.
Let’s talk details. First, her invitations were black and white with gold lettering, and it felt so luxurious and timeless. They made the flat lay detail photos complete. Liv also had the cutest bridesmaids wearing all black, midi length dresses, perfect for a late spring elevated wedding. I love black bridesmaid dresses because they feel SO modern and timeless at the same time.
The Venue
The venue itself has a beautiful ranch home, gardens, and orchards. On top of that, you can use the bridal suite and groom’s lounge to change into your wedding dress and do touch ups. The lawn was perfect for the reception, and allowed us to have quick access to some beautiful spots for sunset photos.
Before the garden ceremony, Gavin and Liv did a first look and share private vows. Sometimes I hear people fear a first look because they think it may take away from seeing each other at the altar. But let me tell you, Gavin’s face says it all. Even with a first look, the moment they shared as she walked down the aisle was absolutely priceless and I can’t believe I captured the emotion so vividly.

My favorite part of weddings like this isn’t just the details, but the genuine, Jesus-honoring celebration. Gavin’s family goes to our church, and getting to capture this with and for them was a huge honor. And it definitely made me itch for more Camarillo weddings at this venue and others like it.
