Where to begin with this Santa Clarita wedding? It was beautiful, of course, but honestly my favorite part of this was getting to know Keller and Jack (and their families). We connected initially because I had shot another wedding at their venue (which also happens to be Keller’s family’s home!). As usual, when they sent in their inquiry, I set up a meeting with them and we got to get coffee together with everyone and talk all things proposal, engagement shoot, wedding, and just life!
Keller and Jack became our fast friends which made their Santa Clarita wedding just a delight to be a part of. We did their engagement photos out in Palmdale on an adventure to find Joshua Trees, and we shot their wedding portraits with an old vintage car. Everything was a blast and felt so natural.
Aside from how insanely beautiful these two are, a breathtaking feature of their Santa Clarita wedding was the oak tree where ceremony and reception took place underneath. They decked it out in string lights, chandeliers, and the most beautiful floral piece climbing the trunk.
We snuck away for sunset portraits, as per usual, and it was MAGICAL. The sun was absolutely golden and glowy, Keller’s dress twirled perfectly in the light, they laughed and kissed, and this session made some amazing wedding memories for them. Not to mention, the video clips of the twirls and glances were unreal.
Jack and Keller are a rare find. Kind, bright, welcoming, Jesus loving, and so fun. Capturing their day in our full Photo + Video Combo package was a true honor. It is so hard to narrow down the photos to just a few, but here’s a little taste of the Holland’s Santa Clarita wedding!
